Aspire to lead

Aja Kuminter Mundak Keblinger, Aja Cidra Mundak Cilaka (Jangan merasa paling pandai agar tidak salah arah;Jangan suka berbuat curang agar tidak celaka) ~ Never think that you are the smartest who knows the only direction to reach the vision, Never commit to the wrongdoings, so that you will not lead people to disaster).

I have been blessed to receive the precious opportunity to sit in the Australian Leadership Development Program for Asia Pacific – ALA (Australian Leadership Award) scholars in Canberra last 2009. Since then, I have been convinced by the young leaders who were invited to inspire us. They grouped us as the potential future leaders. Believe me, it was made our head a bit bigger when we heard about this. Then they taught us starting to inspire other leaders or potential leaders as well.

One of the prominent speaker stated that in order to inspire others, you don’t need to become somebody else. Because, almost all of the speakers were also confirming that intrinsically, everybody is the leader, at least for him/herself. So let your aspiration inspire others.

At first I wanted to write down my aspiration about leadership as my attempt to reflecting values behind my journey up to this stage. For me, leadership life is a journey to enter every years of realizing your vision and objectives, to test your strategy to win the battle or simply just to enjoy every moment in your life-journey book with beloved people surrounds you.

Specifically, this is also a page designed to ignites the innovative leadership concept based on the cultural benchmark! It reflects my personal opinion about leadership while I am in the midst of my journey in life and in interaction with different peoples, paradigms and nations/backgrounds in the world.

The ultimate aim is to strengthen my design for an effective leadership framework for superior performance outcome for all. One key element of the framework is the leadership effectiveness. A leader will never reach its effectiveness without a comprehensive understanding about him/herself and emphatically concern for others with their intrinsic characteristic and wholeness.

To be able to reach the highest state of leadership skills, you need to focus your commitment and capable to serve others. You have finished with your own agenda and you start to live for others. With this state of mind it would make you capable to bring and gather a lot of energy from the universe to support your effort to reach a better vision for all, transform people into an upgraded level of behavior or even improve society culture and achieve sustainable organizational performance outcome!

The first principle of eleven principles that will be elaborated in my pages is started with: Aspire to lead. To lead means to inspire others with a clear vision. A good leader need to maintain the close relationship with God Almighty. To get the greatest source of spirit and motivation for human kind in the world, at first, you must have a reference to the living God. A man can never be satisfactorily defining a good vision for all but God can do it and He also can make you realize it.

sebuah kota. Warga kota itu tak pernah bergembira, sebab mereka hidup
dengan sangat mementingkan diri sendiri. Mereka mengerjakan segala
sesuatu sendiri dan untuk dirinya sendiri. Selain itu, mereka suka
mencurigai semua orang. Termasuk kepada tiga pengembara kelaparan yang
duduk di tengah alun-alun kota mereka. Tiga pengembara itu membuat api
lalu merebus sebuah batu. “Apa yang kaubuat?” tanya seorang anak yang
lewat.
sanalah Tuhan memerintahkan berkat …” –SL
